I explore with awe, I wonder, and I believe in creating possibilities. This blog will be a place for all three. When I first started this blog, AlchemList was my obsession. (AlchemList still simmers- check it out and let me know what you think if you get a chance.). After personal experience working with some phenomenal non-profits and personal experience seeking an alternative to the landfill, I hoped to make it easy for people to find out what non-profits needed what items so they could turn their would-be trash to treasure. I dreamed that by connecting people with non-profits through their stuff, fulfillment would result. I have been a microenterprise counselor, obsessed with figuring out how to best help people start and grow businesses. I am a firm believer in the power of business ownership, both to the person and to the community. I am also a friend, sister, daughter, grand-daughter, professional woman and student. I am currently an MBA candidate at Bainbridge Graduate Institute, where I continue my quest to learn how to design thriving projects and organizations, ones that provide something that makes a difference, both to the people involved and in the world, while I find (or design) my next niche.
